I am not this brave, and I hope I never have to be.
I do not know this man, but he is just one example of what inspires me--active duty members of our armed forces, especially those who are wounded in the name of freedom and overcome insurmountable odds.
Whenever I see or read anything in the news about extraordinary men and women serving our country, I am hard pressed to keep dry eyes.
